About Myself mini biography

I am a recent graduate from the Biomedical Communications masters program at the University of Toronto. Biomedical Communications is the unique interdisciplinary field that bridges visual art and design with the world of science, medicine and health. From creating illustrations and animations, to implementing design and visualization solutions, a biomedical communicator uses their artistic talent to enhance the understanding of science in fields such as patient education, scientific research and health promotion.

In addition to illustrating brains and colons, I have an ever growing passion for web design, graphic design and typography, and will take on any project heavily involving them!

Services what do we do

No matter how small the project, I pride myself on keeping an open door concept with every client when it comes to communication. Having the client leave happy with every last detail perfect is one of the most important aspects of my job. With that said, here is what I offer:

Interface and Web Design

Having a clean, intuitive interface is the most important part of a website. With experience working in both flash and HTML, I can provide that, along with a uniquely creative style.

Illustration and Animation

First comes the research, then the planning and sketching, and finally the rendering. For illustrations and animations I use a variety of software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Cinema 4D to create my artwork.

Data Visualization

"There is no such thing as information overload. There is only bad design" - Tufte

I do print, web and animations to effectively and creatively display information and data you would like displayed.

Graphic Design

I have an extensive knowledge on the theory behind effective design and typography, and I like to use it! I do wedding invitations, logo design, flyers, postage, and business cards.
